It's Tradition. . . .
Every year on the day after Thanksgiving, or as it's better known as, 'Black Friday,' we head downtown 2 Temple Square 2 see the lights. I love love love Temple Square & especially around the holiday season when they turn on the lights. It's so BEAUTIFUL there & definitely is a GREAT way 2 kick off the holiday season. :D We had a blast. :D
We drove into town & parked @ Eagle Gate College's parking garage. That's where my dad works. :D Then we crossed the street 2 catch the Trax since we were in the FREE zone. :D As we were waiting. . . .my mom said that it would be nice if we just walked & @ the same time enjoyed/experienced the festivities of downtown. :D We were all GAME. :D So we started walking. . . . .we were only one block up when we saw the next Trax station & my dad was like, let's catch it 4rom here. Lol. Not that he was tired or anything. . . .he just spoils the grandkids too much. They weren't even complaining, either. He just felt bad 4 them. Lol. So we crossed the street & waited 4 the Trax.
Didn't take long @ all 4 the next train 2 arrive & we hopped on & were @ our destination in minutes. :D We LOVE riding the Trax & being able 2 take the kids on it. They were so EXCITED & it was great 2 just watch them. :D We met up w/Fine & her family as well as Nick & Sheena & their family. :D It was WONDERFUL. :D Here's our pics 4rom our outing last night. So much FUN!! :D Enjoy. . . .

Cute pix! That's such a fun activity because it's free and it gets you into the holiday season... BUT I always, always dread the cold! This yr, though, I will bundle up so much that I won't have time to dread it! Hopefully, lol.
