HAPPY NEW YEARS!! YAY FOR 2009!!

I'm so happy that another new year has come!!  It's always refreshing for me to be able to look back on the previous year & see what things need more continuous work, what things need to be let go of & what things need to be started anew on.  Hoko & I have started working on our New Years resolutions & we're continually adding to our list daily.  We've come to cherish our time together as a family as well as just HUSBAND & WIFE.  We started our paper route, AGAIN (lol), that forces us to get up every morning @ 2:30 am & return home by 6.  I love being with this MAN that I love so much!!  I'm grateful for all he does.  He continually strengthens me to strive to be better!!  He's the best SUPPORTER everr & I'm so happy that I've been blessed to have him in my life.  

Another thing Hoko & I are very excited about is being able to study the D&C this year in church.  We've never read thru the whole thing TOGETHER so this is pretty much a MILESTONE in our lives!  LOL!! So much to work towards & it brings us a TON of excitement to get started!!  Here are some pics of how we rang in the New Years!!  Enjoy!!

 

We Are All Done!!

So I'm happy to report that we've been done with our X-mas shopping since last week Tues.  Whew. . . . .now if I could just get myself going on wrapping them then we'd be all SET!!  LOL!! We're not putting them under the tree til Christmas Eve.  For any of you mothers with young, roudy little boys. . .I know you can relate.  If we put the presents under the tree any sooner than Christmas Eve, we wouldn't have anything left to open on Christmas day.  LOL!!  We've been spending a lot of time with family & we love it.  

Christmas day couldn't come any sooner since I'm dying to go tubing!!  LOL!!  It's also a day filled with movie going.  We're planning to watch Marley & Me!!  The reviews on it have been nothing short of GREAT!!  I'm so excited.  Here's some pics to enjoy.  I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas & definitely a Happy New Year.  

LIGHTS UP!!

Yay for this time of year!!  The lights @ Temple Square were turned on tonight so we put on our warm,  ALMOST winter gear & headed downtown!!  :D  I love this time of year.  Everyone's so friendly & always in HIGH spirits.  It's definitely my favorite time of year, aside from SPRING.  The girls were already in their picture taking mode & what can I say. . . . .THEY TOTALLY RUBBED OFF ON ME!!  Hahahahahaha!!  We had a blast!!  

It was definitely CROWDED, but hey. . . .isn't that what the HOLIDAYS are all about.  We ran into David & Talia.  Haven't seen their beautiful little family in wayyy too long.  It was great running into them.  We love those guys.  Here are some pics from tonight:

TWILIGHT, TWILIGHT, TWILIGHT

I just got home from the midnight showing of Twilight & can I just say that I LOVED IT!!  It was everything I imagined & so much more!!  I am totally in LOVE with all the CULLEN men!!  Edward, Emmett, Jasper, & Carlisle!!  Every single character in the movie was so ON POINT!!  I've been reading Twilight, again, for the past couple of days & I'm so happy I chose to re-read it.  Especially this week.  It totally INTENSIFIED the movie for me!!  I totally can't sleep now!!  I'm wayyy too EXCITED & HAPPY with this movie that I can't get out of my head!!  

It totally took me back to high school & how I felt when I first fell in LOVE with my husband!!  Yes yes. . . .we are high school SWEETHEARTS!!  8 yrs of marriage this past October & still going strong!!  :D  I'm totally feeling lovey dovey right now!!  Hahahahaha. . . . .I'm definitely happy that he'll be getting home around this time tomorrow!!  YAY!!  :D  Me & my sister had the pleasure of catching the same showing as Sheena & her sis!!  It was a blast!!  I LOVED THE MOVIE SO MUCH!!  I can't believe what a great job they did bringing this WONDERFUL story to life!!

So I know it was two weekends ago, but what can I say. . . . .I'm a PROUD auntie!!  Gotta blog about my nephew's winning season!!  My nephew, Gemini, plays for West little league & I'm so proud of him & their WHOLE team.  They took CHAMPIONSHIP in their league!!  WOO HOO!!  They were also undefeated!!  My brother inlaw, Gemini's dad, is their coach & what a GREAT COACH he is!!  They won championships last year as well & it's been another great year.  

We're GEMINI'S number 1 fans!!  We're so proud of this handsome NEPHEW of mine!!  I love you so much GEMINI!!  Just one thing, though:  If we can work on your little temper cause the crying is KILLING me!!  Hahahahahahaha That's all!!  Love you!!  

SURPRISE VISIT FROM ME!! :D

So. . . .this past weekend, ME & my pahtna in crime, SHEENA, took off to Creede, CO for a surprise weekend visit to our hubbies!!  :D  It was so great!!  They had NO idea we were gonna be there, which made the visit so much BETTER!!  We left SLC @ 4pm Thurs & arrived in Creede @ 1am early early Friday morning!!  LOL!!  Boyyy do we have some GREAT memories of our road trip!!  Hahahaha. . . .especially our quick 'PULL OVER TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD' one right before we got to our destination!!  LMBO!!  But we'll have to leave that one to the imagination. . .shhh, there's definitely no telling!!  Hahahahaha

We planned our whole weekend out before we took off so everything was on point!!  :D  We, not only surprised our HUBBIES, but we also surprised OURSELVES with how GREAT everything turned out.  It was nothing less than PERFECT.  We got home last night & our hubbies drove us more than half way home to Moab.  We stopped & took pictures @ the Arches Nat'l Park.  We got there just before sunset & our timing couldn't have been any more PERFECT.  Here are some of the pics from there.
